FRED optical engineering software has helped thousands of users worldwide successfully simulate light propagation within any optical-mechanical system through ray tracing. Its core strength lies in precisely modeling light propagation across diverse optical-mechanical systems, making it an essential tool for virtual prototyping optical systems. The FREDmpc supports ray tracing and analysis on GPU cards, achieving speeds several orders of magnitude faster than traditional multi-threaded CPU-based software.
